Becoming a MULTILIT Registered Practitioner
MULTILIT Reading Programs are ideally suited to those working with students who are struggling in the area of literacy. This would include tutors, teachers, speech pathologists, educational psychologists and those working in a variety of educational programs in the not-for-profit sector.
If you have the appropriate experience and qualifications in the area of literacy and/or education, you might like to consider becoming a MULTILIT Registered Practitioner. After attendance at a three day accreditation course and successful completion of an assessment, you will be able to use the MULTILIT name when advertising your teaching services, thus benefitting from MULTILIT’s excellent reputation and links to Macquarie University boosting the credibility of your services. Your name will be on our database of practitioners, enabling MULTILIT to refer local parents to your services. Registered Practitioners have access to ongoing support from MULTLIT to ensure that quality of instruction is maintained.
There is an initial fee which includes purchasing the product, training and registration and an annual fee thereafter.
MULTILIT reserves the right to assess the suitability of each application for registration. Teachers, speech pathologists, educational psychologists and those with relevant experience or qualifications in literacy teaching would be considered suitable applicants. Organisations can also become registered, but would need to ensure that the appropriate staff are available for training and delivery of the program to their clients.
All those delivering the program in a clinic or organisation should attend accreditation training.
